• 1982 graduation with the Second State Examination in Law and admission to the bar
• 1982-1987 Attorney in Mannheim
• 1988-1997 Lawyer and partner in Heidelberg, co-founder of a medium-sized business law firm
• 1998 -2002 Attorney and partner in Heidelberg after merger with a supra-regional commercial law firm with eight offices in Germany
• 1998 -2002 Board member of the Association of European Lawyers an association of European law firms.
• 1998 -2004 Real estate project management in Denver, Colorado USA
• 2005-2014 Attorney and partner of a medium-sized commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main, Germany
